I live next to a lush, 3 500-acre state forest, yet can’t keep a blade of grass alive on my lawn.
Reading “The Big Short” by Michael Lewis, who does a great job explaining derivatives, AIG & the meltdown.
Nobody told me that Ronkonkoma, NY would be host this year to the World Mosquito Convention.

Sabbatical
Today I’m starting two weeks off - - a sabbatical that my company provides to employees every seven years. It’s a great perk.
My idea is, rather than trying to write a novel or hike The Alps, is to spend two weeks getting back into good habits: diet, exercise, meaningful reading. It’s easy to get into bad habits. It’s hard to break them.
